In a world of fast, endless GPS trails, and algorithmic noise, Trek Goat takes a slower path.
Trek Goat is a slow travel and visual project created by Zdravko, as part of the Putokoza, local blog in Croatia. It is a place where slow travel meets visual storytelling. Here, I, Zdravko, share my journeys through the Alps, the Adriatic, capturing the world one step and one frame at a time. Created in 2020 in the heart of Croatia, Trek Goat began as a local way to capture hidden trails, mountain paths, and coastal corners of the Adriatic–Alpine world. Each story begins with real footsteps — mine — along the ridges, rivers, and forgotten paths of Croatia and its Adriatic–Alpine neighbourhood. I write from places I’ve truly walked, guided, and returned to — not to list them, but to feel them again through words.
Trek Goat isn’t about ticking off destinations. It’s about the quiet pulse of the trail, the scent of pine, the rhythm of stone and breath. Here, adventure means slowing down. Every hike becomes a story, and every story a way to belong — to the land, to time, and to yourself.
A story of continuity, authenticity, and the quiet evolution of an idea.
